Two Days On Triton
I made this when I was on Triton, Neptune's largest moon, in 2085 AD. It is time-lapse (3000x real-time) looking West, 99 km West of Mahilani Plume, over the course of two Triton days (about 12 days Earth-time).
Because of certain aspects of Triton's tilt and rotation and because of its orbital inclination of 157° up above and down below Neptune in retrograde, from this vantage point Neptune seems to set and then rise over and over in a loop with moons spinning round it going the opposite way we are.
We see peeks of our sun. The galaxy, our Milky Way, is prominent.
Music is from a 2007 piece titled "Lives of the Bloated Gas Giant Suns". Made using Starry Night Pro 4.

Whoa! Cool stuff! Wish I could have been there too! I can watch this and live vicariously, I guess! 8-)
Wonderful, beautiful, serene.
Could you convert that into a screen saver for me.
Do it!
